At Icebreaker Events, we’re here to break the mould on dating events and singles nights by doing things a little differently. No more endless swiping on dating apps, only for the conversation to die three days later. No more awkward speed dating where you’re expected to know if someone is “the one” after a three-minute chat about what they do for a living.

Because honestly? That’s a lot of pressure for three minutes and a name badge.

We create fun, relaxed singles events where you can meet people naturally while doing something you actually enjoy. Think quiz nights, escape rooms, climbing, games nights, virtual reality, obstacle courses, themed events and other slightly less boring ways to get yourself out there.

Our events are designed for single people who want to meet other single people without it feeling like a job interview. You might make a new friend. You might meet someone you fancy. You might discover you’re surprisingly competitive in a quiz round. Either way, you’ll have done something fun with people who are in the same boat as you.

We believe the best connections happen when you’re not forcing them. When you’re laughing, playing, solving clues, climbing walls, guessing answers or accusing someone of being a traitor, you get to see what people are actually like.
